Digital Fashion Week declines its European program

In order to assert itself as a player in European fashion, the digital wholesale platform Fashion Cloud has set up its own Digital Fashion Week. The German operator, which started in Hamburg in 2015 and also has offices in Amsterdam, is offering online conferences this week.

This event offers presentations and round tables in English, of course, with trendy meetings or analyzes of changes in purchasing behavior or sourcing needs until Thursday 6:00 p.m. But its specificity is also to provide insights into the situation in different countries.

This Wednesday July 7 is thus proposed a series of digital points in French. From 10:15 am, Adeline Dargent, responsible for CSR projects at the Federation of Women’s Ready-to-Wear, and designer and entrepreneur Anne Willi will discuss the acceleration of the CSR commitment of French brands.

At 10:40 a.m., Anissa Draa, senior female ready-to-wear buyer for Printemps.com will explain the adaptation and evolution of brands and buyers to new purchasing methods.

At 1:20 p.m., Thomas Huriez, founder of 1083 and Laure Babin, founder of Zeta Shoes will explain why the circular economy represents for them a real pledge of commitment on environmental issues.

And at 2:55 p.m., Daphnée Delamare from The Green Chills blog will observe the evolution of the slow trend in fashion and lifestyle.

Start-ups resulting from the Lafayette Plug and Play program will also have 15 minutes to present their solution to improve brand practices with Fairly Made at 11:45 a.m., Veesual at 2:20 p.m. and Freepry at 3:50 p.m.

Programs are also being developed for the Italian, Dutch and German markets.
