A street in homage to Young Dolph inaugurated in Memphis • RAPRNB

The Municipality of Memphis decided to honor the memory of Young Dolph by renaming a street in the south of the city with the rapper’s name.

It is obviously a moment filled with emotions that lived this Wednesday, December 15 the family and the friends of Young Dolph. The municipality of Memphis, where he was from (and still lived there), indeed invited them to come and attend the tribute to the rapper, shot dead in mid-November while he was in a cookie shop in town. To honor his memory, it’s a street that was renamed outright to the rapper’s full name, and is therefore now called Adolph “Young Dolph” Thornton, Jr. Avenue. To do so, a ceremony was organized during which representatives of the town hall spoke in particular to the press, as did the rapper’s fiancée, Mia Jaye. The latter obviously praised her companion, who is also the father of her 2 children: “Adolph was just an amazing man, he was an amazing father, he was an amazing example of what a man should be to his son. I’m grateful that I had the chance to meet him, and I’m happy that the world can be what he really is, not the person most people think they see ”.

The investigation is still stalling

In parallel with this new tribute paid to Young Dolph, the investigators are still looking for the 2 men who killed the rapper premeditatedly and perfectly prepared, since they knew his affection for the shop in which they killed him. If they were able to find the vehicle used by the assassins, which had already been used a short time before for another murder, no concrete evidence could lead the police to trace the marksmen. Obviously, the hopes of the family of the author of 100 Shots are not in vain so that justice can judge and condemn those responsible for this assassination.
