Confirming Positive for Covid-19, Ashanty undergoes isolation at the hospital: Okezone Celebrity

JAKARTA– Singer Ashanty confirmed that he was exposed to the corona virus (Covid-19) after returning from vacation from Turkey. This is known from the results of the PCR test upon arrival in Indonesia.

“Once I arrived in Indonesia, I did a PCR and the results were positive,” he said Ashanty quoted from his Instagram Story, Friday (7/1/2022).

After being tested positive, Ashanty was immediately evacuated from the hotel to the hospital (RS). He will also undergo isolation and treatment at the hospital, after being referred by the Covid-19 Task Force.

“Finally, when I arrived at the quarantine hotel, I waited for the PCR results from the airport and they turned out to be positive. I immediately went to the hospital for quarantine in a hospital that had been approved by the Covid Task Force,” he said.

Again infected with Covid-19, Ashanty also revealed that he did not experience severe symptoms. However, he promised to undergo a medical procedure because he has a congenital disease.

“Alhamdulillah, I haven’t felt any serious symptoms, but I’m still carrying out the procedure according to my health, as I have a congenital disease,” said Ashanty.

The wife of musician Anang Hermansyah also confirmed that she had undergone a Covid-19 test in Istanbul, Turkey. He underwent the test twice and the results were negative. Unfortunately, Ashanty did not mention that he was exposed to the Omicron variant of Covid-19.

Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, Siti Nadia Tarmizi also said that her party was conducting an examination to confirm the variant.

“Currently, it is in the process of being examined and to localize Omicron, the government has taken a policy that all positive cases must be isolated in a centralized hospital or athlete’s house,” he said.
