Not a day goes by that we don’t talk about it! And so for Halloween, Netflix decided to open a Squid Game gaming area in Los Angeles. On the program: the same games as in the series, but without the deadly traps. A video was shared on Twitter and we can see that people had a lot of fun!

As if you were there

Netflix has opened its Squid Game playground in the Korean neighborhood of Los Angeles. For a day, the streaming giant offered fans to live a crazy adventure and dive into the universe of the series through its deadly games: the scary doll, cookies, portraits … and not to mention the torturers in their scary costume and mask. But of course, the losers weren’t eliminated in excruciating pain like in the series.

In the video posted on Twitter, we can see that the event attracted a lot of people. It was with happiness and enthusiasm that the fans participated in the games. Some even agreed to say a few small words, declaring that they were happy to be there and to taste this great adventure.

Squid Game, a phenomenon!

“Squid Game” is one of the most popular shows on Netflix. In addition to exploding views on the platform, the series also had the right to many parodies (on Saturday Night Live for example). Her costumes were also in high demand for Halloween.

But that’s not all, because the popularity of the series goes even further: one site has even gone so far as to launch a Squid Game cryptocurrency, supposedly in partnership with Netflix. However, everything suggests that this virtual currency is in fact a big scam! The CoinMarketCap site also calls on investors to remain very cautious about this new cryptocurrency.

In any case as regards Squid Game, the series could well be entitled to a second season. Its showrunner, Hwang Dong-hyuk, has revealed that talks about a potential sequel are underway with Netflix. In the meantime, if you still haven’t seen the series, it’s Halloween, the opportunity to start a little binge watching that will make you shiver with horror as well as with excitement.
