As The Hollywood Reporter points out, the publisher Ballantine Books is behind the project. In his memoirs, the comedian reviews his childhood in Brooklyn during the Great Depression, his time in the army during World War II and his first years in the world of comedy. The 95-year-old artist also chronicles his years in Hollywood and Broadway, detailing the most significant moments of his career, from co-creating the television series Superagente 86 to filming The Producers.
