It is certainly one of the most anticipated releases of the year 2021 in part thanks to its impressive cast, but also with its impressive budget. Red Notice is the next blockbuster that will land in the Netflix catalog and we finally know when we can discover it on our screens.
When the best FBI profiler and two criminals team up
We’ve been hearing about Red Notice, the next (very) big budget film that Netflix will offer in its catalog. And to face the competition which is becoming increasingly fierce, the streaming giant did not hesitate to get its hands on the wallet. Indeed, this film which will mix thriller, action and comedy can boast ofa monster budget of 160 million dollars!
With such a budget, the leader of American streaming can afford cute headliners with a trio of Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot. Directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, who will return to The Rock after their collaboration in Almost Secret Agents And in 2016 Skyscraper in 2018, Red Notice with a scene the top FBI profiler played by Dwayne Johnson and two rival criminals, Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds. All three will be reunited after Interpol issues a Red Alert, to hunt down the world’s most wanted criminals, following a daring heist.
And as Dwayne Johnson says on his Twitter account, when we bring this kind of team together “no one can predict the outcome of the operation“.
The release date finally unveiled
In addition to the synopsis unveiled, the actor took the opportunity to announce the release date of Red Notice on Netflix. We will have to wait a few more months since the film will be available on November 12 on the platform.
And the cocktail promises to be explosive. For good reason, the three headliners know each other quite well since Johnson has already played with the actress who embodies Wonder Woman in Fast & Furious 5 and 6 and with the interpreter of Deadpool in the spin-off of the franchise Hobbs & Shaw.
As a reminder, Red Notice won’t be the only blockbuster Netflix has in store for us this year. We can also take advantage of Don’t Look Up d’Adam McKay avec Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Timothée Chalamet and Ariana Grande or even The Harder They Fall, a western co-produced by J-Zay, which are part of the 70 original creations planned by the platform.
