I stayed alert and told myself that if I went back to running I would be able to do it even with only one leg. I had prepared myself beforehand to lose it. I was in intensive care for a week, then did some adjustment. I started walking again and resumed going to school 3 months later. There was a pandemic and I had to get the prosthesis, I started trying to do all the sports that I could practice without. Then she arrived and I resumed training, I went back to running, playing sports, became an example for other people, showing that all this is possible ».
In his life of Amber Sabatini there is also room for love: «My boyfriend is called Alessandro, we’ve been together for over a year. We met while we were doing athletics, it was a friendship that became closer and closer after the accident.
