After “Folklore” and “Evermore”, singer Taylor Swift is now releasing old albums that were made between 2006 and 2017. The second newly recorded album will be released in November, the song list is already known.
Taylor Swift plans to release her new album “RED (Taylor’s Version)” on November 19th. This is a new release of the album “RED” from 2012.
Reason for the new recording of the songs: a legal dispute with the entrepreneur Scooter Braun. Because he bought the music label Big Machine Records, which until then owned all of Swift’s albums. Braun did not want to give Taylor Swift the rights to her albums, so she couldn’t purchase her own music. Swift switched to the record label Republic Records and had an idea: She just re-records her old albums. The titles of the old albums remain, only a “Taylor’s Version” is added. The first newly recorded album, “Fearless (Taylor’s Version)”, was released on April 16, 2021.
Taylor Swift publishes song list
Fans have to wait a little longer for the new version of “RED”. But Swift already published a video with the alleged track list of “RED (Taylor’s Version)”. But instead of the correct title, the fans were given a crossword puzzle so that they could guess all the titles and additional artists themselves. Now the song list is out, and in addition to the 19 original songs, there should be eleven additional songs. Among other things, one with her good friend and musician Ed Sheeran.
And something else sweetens the waiting time until November for fans: Swift is now also on TikTok and does not only advertise her new album there, but also for her three cats.
