JAKARTA – Zaskia Adya Mecca admitted that he was touched by the decision of his second daughter, Kala Madali, who firmly wore the hijab at the age of 8 years. He did not expect his daughter, who had always liked to wear shorts, suddenly appeared veiled.
In the upload, Hanung Bramantyo’s wife shows a portrait of Kala in her hijab, leaning against the wall while looking at her mother. Zaskia replied to the princess’s gaze with a sweet smile.
Kala’s decision to wear a hijab began with seeing her mother and sister, Kana Sybilla, who had covered their genitals first. “This is a child, his instinct is to imitate those closest to him,” said Zaskia in her upload on December 8, 2021.
Despite being admitted by the Ayat-Ayat Cinta actress, she and her husband never forced their two daughters to wear hijab at a very young age. He also never demanded that his children not take off their hijab again.
“Let me say it’s lebay or something, I also don’t demand Kala not to take off her (hijab). But today, I am grateful that Kala learned to run the Shari’a without any orders and coercion from anyone. He uses it because he feels the need at his age,” he said again.
