Disney just released the new teaser trailer from ‘Charm’, the film that the Colombian-inspired studio produced.
Hats vueltiaos and aguadeños, wax palms, balconies with colorful springs, accordions and the voice of Carlos Vives singing “Colombiaaaa” are some of the details of the exciting video preview.
Samarium is in charge of interpreting Colombia, my charm, the song from the movie. Actress Carolina Gaitán, who is part of the voice cast of the film in Spanish, revealed in an interview with La W that María Cecilia Botero, Angie Cepeda, Mauro Castillo and Dayan Guerrero also lend their voices to various characters.
Disney also revealed the official plot and poster for the film. “Charm is the story of the Madrigal, an extraordinary family that lives hidden in the mountains of Colombia, in a magical house, in a vibrant town, in a wonderful place known as a Encanto. The magic of this Charm has blessed all the boys and girls in the family with a unique gift, from super strength to the power to heal. Everyone except Mirabel. But when she discovers that her family is in danger, she, the only Madrigal without magical powers, could be her last hope, “explains the synopsis.

Charm will be released in theaters next november. The film features original songs by award-winning Lin-Manuel Miranda and co-directed by Byron Howard and Jared Bush, who were behind Zootopia.
