A rise against the health pass. Alain Robert, nicknamed the “French Spider-Man”, climbed, Tuesday, September 7, with his bare hands a tower of the business district of La Défense (Hauts-de-Seine), near Paris, to mark his opposition to the device .

After a little more than an hour of ascent, without equipment and with simply protections around the fingers, “the spider man” was arrested and taken into custody at midday for “endangering the life of others, “noted an AFP journalist.

For the eleventh time in his life, the famous climber launched an assault on the Total Coupole tower, 187 meters high. An ascent of “medium difficulty”, he explained to the press. Usually lonely, this specialist in urban mountaineering was accompanied for the first time by three young climbers aged 21, 28 and 33, according to whom joining a legend of the discipline was a “honor”.

“It is an ascent against the health pass, which annoys everyone. It is an attack on fundamental freedoms, this pass is a shame”, said Alain Robert before his departure. “It is also a tribute to Jean-Paul Belmondo, who did his stunts himself”, he added the day after the death at 88 years of the legend of French cinema.
