In Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, the authorities have registered 282 new corona infections since Saturday. 96 percent of the intensive care beds intended for corona patients are occupied nationwide. The seven-day incidence of new infections drops to 420.6. The state hospitalization incidence drops to 8.2. The corona traffic light for the whole country is on “orange”.
The number of registered new corona infections has increased by 282 cases in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania since Saturday (as of Sunday 4:16 p.m.). That is 215 cases less than a week ago. The number of deaths rose by two to 1,424. According to the LAGuS, as of Friday, 2,616,294 vaccine doses have been administered in the northeast. According to this, 1,150,177 people were vaccinated at least once (vaccination rate 71.4 percent). 1,101,359 people are fully vaccinated (vaccination rate 68.4 percent). 429,925 people received a booster vaccination (vaccination rate 26.7 percent).

Hospitalization incidence highest in the Lake District
The Mecklenburg Lake District has the highest incidence of hospitalization at 12.4. This is followed by the district of Rostock (11.5), Western Pomerania-Rügen (8.4), the city of Rostock (7.2), Western Pomerania-Greifswald (6.8), Ludwigslust-Parchim (6.6), and the city of Schwerin (5.2) and Northwest Mecklenburg (3.8). The seven-day incidence of new infections is only a secondary criterion for determining the corona protective measures in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It drops to 420.6 (-2.4). The district of Vorpommern-Greifswald has the highest incidence of new infections with 537.4, the lowest Schwerin with 248.9. The LAGuS no longer shows the incidence separated into vaccinated and unvaccinated persons, because data that are transmitted late would result in “incomplete presentations”. In addition, the LAGuS made further changes to the management report and the tier map.

83 new infections in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district
The district of Vorpommern-Greifswald reported the most newly infected people with 83. The city of Rostock recorded 74 new cases, the Mecklenburg Lake District 56, the Rostock district 26, Western Pomerania-Rügen 17, Ludwigslust-Parchim 12, Northwest Mecklenburg 10 and Schwerin 4. In the Ludwigslust district -Parchim could also contain late registrations. These were caused by cyber attacks and the associated problems with transferring the number of cases.
Corona traffic light on “orange”
