Bhörkan is changing from his training club FK Bodø / Glimt to the “Old Lady”. The contract in his hometown Bodø expires after the current season at the end of the year. Until then, regular Björkan has two championship games on the program for the defending champion. Bodø / Glimt is at the top with three points and a slightly better goal difference ahead of pursuers Molde FK (see the table in Norway).

Björkan, who has been trading at Hertha for a long time, could come to Berlin as a two-time champion in winter. In 2020 he won the title in the elite series with Bodø / Glimt. In the current season, the second most valuable professional in the squad contributed one goal and six assists and only missed six competitive games in the league, conference league and European Cup qualification this year. In the championship, he only paused on one game day.
