The Executive Committee (Comex) of the FFF FINALLY delivered its verdict yesterday on the relegations of N1, D1 women and futsal. Decisions that made people happy but also of course dissatisfied people. The club of Lyon La Duchère, whose relegation to National 2 was confirmed, was also quick to react with a press release signed by its president Jean-Christophe Vincent where he evokes a decision a decision ” disrespectful, legally unfounded, sportingly questionable and unfair ».

Topping the list of grievances for the Plateau club is the time taken by the Federation to take responsibility and make a decision. A timing which necessarily disrupted the preparation of the next season for all the clubs of N1, D1F and Futsal concerned.

The Plateau club regrets that “ since the end of the National championship on May 15, the club has had no contact with the Federation despite his letter to President Le Graët and his open letter published in numerous media. We had to prepare for the coming season in complete uncertainty.«

The CNOSF seized by Lyon La Duchère after the decision of the COMEX

If the sporting descent of the duchéroise formation, last of the championship, does not suffer from any dispute, the Lyon club invokes a regulatory aspect to contest its demotion. ” On April 22, 2021, the Executive Committee of the FFF decided on a white season for the National 2 championship implying the absence of climbs and descents for this season and the non-application of article 6-1-c of the regulations for the National 1 and 2 championships. But the same Comex decides today to apply article 6-1-e which provides that the team ranked last in National
1 cannot be drafted. But from the moment when in April, the FFF decides that there are no climbs or descents in National 2, how does it justify that there is only a descent in National 1 and a climb? from a club from
National 2 ?

Lyon La Duchère also regrets the absence of ” sporting justification “As to the rise of Sedan in National and concluded by indicating that he would use” all legal means to contest it in the coming days in order to be entitled to start the National 1 championship “. The CNOSF will therefore be contacted first. You can find the entire press release on the official website of the club duchérois.
