3 reasons to go on a cruise in the Balearic Islands – Travel Me Happy

Hello travelers!

This week we are going to talk to you about cruising and what better way to approach winter than to dive into our next vacation for next summer and dream a little?

Let’s go for a good dose of sun and head for the Balearic Islands!

Having had the opportunity to go there several times, I find that it is the closest destination to us and that disconnects us so easily! Imagine that in barely an hour and a half flight from Nice you could find yourself in this little paradise!

In my wishlist for my next trips I dream of going on a cruise with my friends and why not book a sailboat rental in the Balearic Islands?

Visit Ibiza

Ibiza is one of the four main islands of the Balearic Islands. It was once famous for its clubs and parties and was often frequented by famous celebrities and DJs. If you want to party there I assure you there are always the clubs but Ibiza is not just a long series of beach parties. For having had the chance to go there 3 years ago, I was so pleasantly surprised to discover the north of the island which is totally different from the south. The small coves there are incredible and here are some pictures I was able to take with my drone below.

On an Ibiza cruise you will find many islets and secluded coves to explore and you must also visit the historic old town to walk through which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. I loved the energy of the island, a little bohemian, relaxation, moreover I advise you to visit the hippie market and to go to the island of Formentara just above Ibiza.

In short, whether it is the energy of the clubs that you are most impatient to discover in Ibiza, or the sublime beaches of the island, you will find many things to do to spend a memorable day during a stopover in Ibiza during your cruise in the Mediterranean.

Visit Mallorca

The Port of Palma de Mallorca is a popular port on many Mediterranean cruise itineraries. It has a variety of experiences to offer its visitors and many cruise lines mention it as their favorite Mediterranean port. This is not only for its beauty, but also for its accessibility, as the cruise port is located in the heart of Palma.

The historic old town of Palma de Mallorca is one of the jewels of the Mediterranean. There is so much atmosphere in its old streets, and so much to see …

I had the opportunity to go to a holiday club twice when I was younger, I have good memories of it but I am not a fan of mass tourism and ALL-In clubs, in Indeed, today I am looking for more peace and the boat would be the best solution today.

Visit Menorca

A visit to Menorca allows you to enjoy the outdoors, with numerous hiking trails and the Cami de Cavalls bridle path stretching 125 miles around the island. By reputation it is the island which is the wildest, the least touristy and suddenly the one that would attract me the most for its tranquility!

A holiday in Menorca encourages you to enjoy a more relaxed pace of life and the multitude of perfectly placed seaside bars and restaurants reflects this.

So travelers, which of these 3 islands do you want the most?
