new agreement to enhance the territories

The collaboration between the Barumini Sistema Cultura Foundation and the National Archaeological Museum of Naples. TourismA 2021 staged at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Florence, the great novelty of an upcoming joint collaboration agreement between the Foundation and Mann for new important promotion and enhancement activities for the sites of the two territories.

«That of Florence was another important occasion to strengthen thefamiliar with Barumini and Sardinia on a national and international level and to capture new potential tourist flows – comments Emanuele Lilliu, president of the Foundation – this appointment marked another important stage in the collaboration path that we have activated with the Naples Museum with which we will sign a three-year agreement on 10 January in Barumini ». For Tonino Chironi, secretary general of the Foundation, the agreement “represents a new opportunity for our territories to strengthen themselves in the national and foreign tourist markets in close collaboration with important realities of Italian culture and archeology – he says – Sardinia is alongside of the other cultural excellences of our country such as Florence, Naples or Pompeii to be at the forefront as an international tourist destination ».

Within the collaboration path, many appointments between exhibitions will be foreseen, such as the one on the Etruscans to be inaugurated in spring, and the joint participation in national and international fairs and events, up to the presence of Barumini, in June 2022, in its own exhibition space at the Naples Museum with the aim of jointly carrying out effective actions to enhance the sites.
