Compared to the results of 2019, 67% of arrivals were made in 2021 and 77% of overnight stays in 2019.

The most visited regions were: Istria, Kvarner, Split, Zadar, Zagreb; tourists mostly stayed in hotels and private accommodation. Furthermore, Italians visited Croatia in large numbers also in December together with tourists from Austria, Germany and Slovenia, 7,700 arrivals and 21,400 overnight stays. The results achieved during the Christmas and New Year holidays are confident and confirm the market position of our country as a quality and well-prepared destination “.
