All airlines certified in Moldova were removed from the EU aviation safety list, “following improvements in aviation safety in the country”. Transport Commissioner Adina Vălean said: “The maintaining the highest level of safety for all air travelers and staff is a top priority. The EU aviation safety list remains one of our most important tools effective to achieve this goal. I am particularly pleased that, after two years of hard work, we are now able to remove all Moldovan air carriers from this list, opening the doors for them to a new flight to the EU. It shows that hard work and close cooperation are paying off ”.
