Located a few kilometers from Bolzano, in the locality of Doladizza / Montagna, the Manna Resort is making its debut today: a 5-star hotel with 15 suites and three private chalets obtained from the conversion of an old sawmill, with the intention of creating a structure in harmony with the surrounding nature, according to a low environmental impact project that uses copper, brass, wood and local stone.
The main building, with grassy roofs to blend in with the lawns all around, spread over several floors: on the ground floor the reception with the immense counter, the effect ceiling in canaletto walnut and an original totem bookcase, some suites, the ristorante with its terrace, the bar, it gourmet space it’s a reading room; on the first floor other suites and on the second one multipurpose room (for business meetings, yoga or meditation sessions), the fitness center overlooking the mountains and the spa, all black and gold with lots of herbal teas and panoramic saunas. From this, along a short stretch in the woods, you reach the Manna Medical, one of the flagships of the resort. Also located outside the main building the pool, a bio-pool and three exclusive chalets for absolute privacy.
The resort, which aims to present itself as a true oasis away from the noise and stress, was born from the passion of the owner Maria Luisa Manna for Thailand, its culture, good food and above all the deep knowledge and care of the human body. Hence the desire to create a space that puts well-being and the care of the soul at the center of one’s thoughts. Africa, Japan, Russia, Arabia, Lapland, France, Sweden…. these are just some of the 15 locations that define the as many suites and junior suites of the new resort. From 35 to 43 square meters in width, they are all equipped with a private sauna and terrace with a large window that leaves your gaze free to wander over the Alps and the Adige Valley. The three chalets, on the other hand, have surfaces ranging from 53 to 74 square meters. Two are immersed in nature, just in front of the porphyry rocks, with private access to the bio-pool; the third is instead located above the rocks, surrounded by a mainly Mediterranean and partly Alpine flora. Finally, all three have a private sauna and elegant interiors.
