Adele with “Easy On Me” has already mastered Czech radio, in albums she had to bow to Viktor Sheen again

While in the world charts Adele has so far collected one winning laurel after another with her new studio “30”, last week she still had the second place in the radio and album rankings. But the hit “Easy On Me” has now survived and is taking the lead on the air. However, Viktor Sheen leads the records for the second time.

RADIO – It took seven weeks for the single “Easy On Me” to reach the top of the Czech radio charts after worldwide success. Adele reaffirmed that nostalgic heartbreaking ballads with piano accompaniment are simply her domain – despite the fact that the album “30” is actually the only piece conceived in this way. Let us remind you that the song, composed by the artist herself and Greg Kurstin, has been dominating the British charts for seven weeks in a row, winning six times in the USA so far. Dua Lipa with “Love Again” descended from the first place to the silver post, bronze was defended by Ed Sheeran thanks to “Bad Habits”. The stars of British popular music have once again taken the full podium for themselves. Sheeran also has the song “Shivers” in eighth place in the top ten. And this may soon be followed by his still-hot Christmas collaboration with Elton John “Merry Christmas”. The current single Kryštof, the magnificent ballad “I fall into the sky”, appeared in the top ten for the first time. It was enough for her to advance among the most played songs for six weeks on the air, the current one is nine. At number ten, Mirai follows, whose “I’m calling” returns to the fore from the last twenty-three. The approaching Christmas also spoke to the charts – the playwrights re-included the annual classics. Wham! with “Last Christmas” they are 23rd, Ewa Farna wishes “Christmas for Peace” from twenty-seven. Václav Neckář’s “Půlnoční” follows in the 33rd position, and of course Mariah Carey can’t miss the “All I Want For Christmas Is You” – she is the thirty-seventh most played. Last year’s hit, “Christmas” by Christopher and Karl Gott, follows on the fifty-first line. The most successful novelty of the round was provided by Elton John and Dua Lipa, the remix of the single “Cold Heart” from the workshop of Australian producers Pnau starts as the 69th. British singer Tom Grennan has booked 75th place with “Don’t Break The Haert” and Tiësto and Ava Max with “The Motto” are four places lower. The latest news was recorded by the stars of the domestic scene – and this is a possible hit this Christmas. Marek Ztracený and Hana Zagorová collected a million views on YouTube with the music video for the single “Christmas as before” in just a few days since their release. They start on the radio slowly, as the ninety-third most played, but a rapid rise can be expected in the coming weeks.

Viktor Sheen - Stories and dreams

ALBA – Viktor Sheen also defeated the strong global competition for the second time in the form of the silver Adele (“30”) and the bronze group Abba (“Voyage”). His album “Stories and Dreams” defended its leading position despite the fact that the Czech rapper with Kazakh roots does not follow such a trendy path. Rather than spewing content on social networks and purposeful collaborations, he quietly devotes himself to creation. Maybe the listeners appreciate it so much that it is its, as evidenced by the fact that he did not even come for the award at the recent Czech Nightingale. The recently deceased Miro Žbirka rose back into the top ten with the compilation “MEKY – The Best Of Miro Žbirka”. She has improved from the last thirteen to four, which is the best result of this selection. Vladimír Mišík advanced to the top five with the award-winning recording “Noční obraz”. The legend of Czech rock exchanged places with Ed Sheeran, whose “=” drops to sixth place. Mirai get a lucky seven this time, but it means the not so favorable fact that they and “Maneki Neko” lost three lines. They came with the 22nd studio rock dinosaurs Deep Purple. They released the new “Turning To Crime” composed of cover versions only a year and a few months after the previous collection “Whoosh!”. Czech fans sent them to the eighth. Unusually only two representatives have a domestic rap scene in the top ten this time. After the winning Sheen, whose two older bestsellers “Black and White World” and “Colors” dropped out of the top ten after many months, it is Renne Dang at number nine with her third soloist “DANG”. Michal Hrůza recapitulates the last two successful decades in the 22nd place, his busy selection is called “Hits & Stories (Best Of 2001-2021)”. A novelty on the sixty-sixth line with the all-encompassing title “Best Christmas Songs and Carols” will get the audience in the holiday mood – it contains songs like “Wallachian Sheep Shepherds”, “Christ the Lord was Born” or “Wanting to Sleep”.
