Honest pop generation Z: Conan Gray will come to Prague for the first time

Conan Gray, the pop king of Generation Z, a favorite of Taylor Swift and Sir Elton John and the author of the viral hits “Heather” and “Maniac”, is finally embarking on a long-planned world tour. This will stop on May 14, 2022 in the Karlín Forum in Prague. Australian musician and rapper Mallrat will perform with him. Concert tickets (CZK 790) will be on sale from October 29, 2021 in the Ticketmaster network. Before Conan Gray began releasing his own songs, millions of fans knew him as a youtuber who focused mainly on cover versions of more famous hits. Even then, many called him an emerging superstar and praised his authenticity and originality. He also demonstrated these at last year’s debut “Kid Krow”, which debuted at number five on the US album charts and occupied first place on the pop charts. Conan Gray has become the most successful debutant of the last two years and has joined artists such as Billie Eilish and Shawn Mendes. Enthusiastic responses came not only from the fans, but also from the media, led by Vogue and The Fader magazines. No wonder he immediately appeared in prime time shows on shows such as Late Night with Seth Meyers and The Late Late Show with James Corden. Taylor Swift even described the song “Astronomy” from the upcoming second album as a masterpiece, and her fans include Sir Elton John, who publicly congratulated Gray on his authorial achievements. The song “People Watching” has collected almost a hundred million plays since the summer, and NPR wrote about it: “It’s liberating to hear that others feel things that you think you’re just experiencing.” Conan also recently starred in Olivia Rodrigo’s clip for “Sour Prom.” Along with the announcement of the world tour, Gray is going to release a new song “Telepath”, which fans will hear on October 29. They can look forward to the most pompous refrain he has ever written. Star producers Julia Michaels (Justin Bieber, Gwen Stefani), Illya (Ariana Grande, Jennifer Loper) and Caroline Ailin also took part in the song.
