The conference, organized in the “Delta” building of the Wrocław Technology Park, is an open event open to anyone interested in the space sector. During the meeting, a project of a satellite space mission will be presented, the aim of which will be to test technologies related to optics and self-diagnosis of satellites in space conditions.
Additionally, the launch of the third Scanway balloon mission this year is planned. The launch of the stratospheric balloon will enable the experiment to be conducted in conditions similar to those prevailing in space.
Scanway Space, a company operating in Wrocław, is involved in the implementation of several ongoing satellite projects. Responsible, inter alia, for preparing the telescope for the EagleEye satellite, which is to be the largest fully designed and constructed observation telescope in Poland. The involvement of the Wrocław-based company also applies to telescopes developed with the Polish satellite constellation PIAST in mind. He is also the leader of the consortium, which will soon prepare a study for the Polish Space Agency entitled “Development of the concept of an innovative project in the area of optical Earth observations with an assessment of its feasibility”.
The conference will be held in Wrocław at ul. Duńska 9. The event is to start at 10:00.
The meeting is organized under the patronage of the Marshal’s Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Wrocław Technology Park and the WroSpace Association. Space24 took the event under its media patronage.
